How does automatic attendance work?

Step by step

Create an event — parents and players get a request to confirm availability.

Before the session, check the availability responses so you know who to expect.

After the event, open it and record the players' actual attendance.

If you do not review the list, the app provisionally records attendance from the responses when the event ends.

You can correct an automatic entry by hand at any time.

An availability response shows intention; attendance records what happened. Team statistics show both separately.
Automatic recording applies only when the coach has not entered attendance manually.
A player who declared an absence is saved as absent.
A manual correction always takes precedence over the automation.

Attendance looks too optimistic

The entries were probably created automatically from availability responses. Correct the records for players who did not attend.

A parent did not submit a response

Without a response, the player is not counted as present. You can send a reminder before the event.

I want to change attendance later

Open the event from the history and change the player's status — statistics recalculate immediately.
