How does automatic attendance work?

TrainTeam separates the declaration from real attendance. A parent says whether the child will come, and after the event what counts is what actually happened. If the coach does not check the list, the app stamps attendance for them.

Step by step

Create an event — parents and players get a request to confirm availability.

Before the session check the declarations so you know who to count on.

After the event open it and mark the players' real attendance.

If you do not get to it, the app saves attendance according to the declarations once the event ends.

You can correct an automatic entry by hand at any time.

Extra notes

  • A declaration is an intention, attendance is a fact — team statistics show both separately.
  • Automatic stamping only fills in where the coach entered no assessment of their own.
  • A player who declared an absence is saved as absent.
  • A manual correction always takes precedence over the automation.

Common problems

Attendance looks too optimistic

That usually means it was stamped automatically from the declarations. Correct the entries for the players who did not turn up.

A parent did not declare attendance

With no declaration the player is not counted as present. You can send a reminder to respond before the event.

I want to change attendance later

Open the event from the history and change the player's status — statistics recalculate immediately.
